This is the largest California Only wine competition. Entries for 2018 were 2,708. It is the 42nd annual competition and judging will take place on June 2-3, 2018. It is a Double-Blind Tasting, with only winemakers or winery principals selected as the judges. The Orange County Wine Society’s involvement provides scholarships to students in enology and viticulture at 7 California colleges, which now totals over $630,000.
